We are delighted to announce that Value Projects Ltd has been appointed to provide work based action learning within Zurich Insurance as part of its strategy for the development of talent and leadership. Value Improvement Projects (VIPs) were introduced in early in 2008 and these run throughout the year at three levels for Senior, Established and Potential leaders from these three talent pools.
Participants are provided with access to the online system Really Managing, via our technology partner MyKnowledgeMap and this enables communication from a distance, capturing of learning and access to an array of leadership and management resources.
The VIPs are facilitated by Value Projects consultants as well as by internal faciliators from the talent development function.
Value Projects is delighted to announce that it has partnered with the training consultancy True North in order to develop the qualification structure for the National Outsourcing Association. Richard Hale says “This in an exciting venture, first because of the growth in the field of outsourcing and because this is a relatively new professional work area. The demand for a professional structure of qualifications has emerged from the membership which includes outsourcing service providers and service users. I believe a major growth area will be the development of new professions as work patterns and technologies evolve, and Value Projects is ideally poisitioned to provide accreditation capabilities and structures through our relationship with educational establishments and universities.”
Danish Hotel group DKBS are following a pioneering action learning based programme delivered by our partner Mike Hohnen. The GROW programme is proving very successful and a core aspect is the accreditation at undergraduate/professional certificate level following the Action Learing Question approach. Participants have started their second of three modules and Mike Hohnen reporting on the feedback from the client has noted how the professional approach taken by participants from the programme is now clearly visible to the senior directors in the organisation. The programme is accredited by the University of Chester.
